Vivitek has introduced the DU4371Z-ST short-throw laser projector spec’d at 5,100 lumens at WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution using DLP DarkChip3 and BrilliantColor technologies. The DU4371Z-ST uses a laser light source, so it’s capable of being used in 360-degree positioning applications and integrates a 0.5 short-throw lens — so, from two meters, it can project an image of 185 inches.
Specified to have a contrast ratio of 20,000: 1, the DU4371Z-ST can be used in projection mapping as well as K-12, higher ed, rental, houses of worship, digital signage, corporate meeting room and healthcare applications. The laser light source ensures maintenance-free operation of up to 20,000 hours, and inputs include HDMI and HDBaseT.
This short-throw projector is shipped from the factory with Crestron RoomView software for network monitoring and management, and it lists for £2,390 ex VAT.
